Workspace app for MAC introduced support for HDX Webcam redirection for 64-bit apps, and hence support Teams. Older versions do not support MS Teams for Webcam redirection. We are currently working on Teams Optimization Pack (contact your Account Manager to get access to EAR) - this technology would allow the Webcam to be accessed directly. To install Citrix Workspace for Mac. Download the Citrix Workspace for Mac installer. Verify by launching a Hosted App from Workplace for Mac or the Workplace Web. Sep 18, 2020 Citrix Workspace app for Mac allows you to use an Input Method Editor (IME) on either the user device or on the server. When client-side IME is enabled, users can compose text at the insertion point rather than in a separate window. Citrix Workspace app for Mac also allows users to specify the keyboard layout they want to use. I didnt have problems with the Citrix Workspace connection to our work Citrix environment. On my iPad it stil works fine (same method with RSA token). But after a conflict with SharePoint 365 and OneDrive, I had to restore some things with OneDrive and after that I cant make connection tot my wor. I fully updated it then signed into the Workspace page, I set my profile to HTML5 instead of Workspace app and attempted to launch several apps and even desktops. Every thing I launched failed. I signed into Citrix Studio and each VDA I was trying to use was restarting.
Citrix Workspace App Mac 10.11
I've been trying to get multiple webcams from my mac (Workspace 1906) to work with Cisco WebEx Teams on my Windows 10 64 bit VDI (VDA 1903) over HDX RealTime Webcam Video Compression.
The app won't show my video unless I switch to generic USB and install the drivers on the VDI. Chrome also doesn't show my video feed, but I've found that x32 Skype does.
Citrix Workspace App For Mac 1812
Obviously with the embedded webcam, I can't switch to Generic USB, so I have to add a 2nd external Camera to my mac to get it to work with these apps.
From my windows device, the camera shows up as expected.
Does anyone know if fixing this is on the Mac client roadmap? According to the below article, it looks like this was fixed for Windows Receiver 4.11 already and Receiver for Chrome.
Note: 64-bit Application support requires XenApp / XenDesktop 7.17 or later, and also Receiver for Windows 4.11 or later, and Receiver for Chrome.
Thanks ,
